Have you ever noticed that when you visit new places, you see different plants and animals?  The types of plants and animals that live in a biome depend on the characteristics of that biome.  A biome is a geographic area that has similar climate, plants, and animals.  In Utah, the three main biomes are desert, forest and wetland.  This site will help you describe and identify the common plants and animals found in Utah's biomes.
