Well, we did it!! The trip started with a whirlwind tour of the Midwest; starting with a visit to my sister in South Bend and then on to a superb pre-wedding reception and get together with Chrissy's family in Goshen, IN. We bought a 95' Beretta in Michigan City from Chrissy's sister's, boyfriend's parents and cruised out of town and on to Iowa City where my mom and my aunt Ginny helped throw another reception/ fourth of July party at my Aunt and Uncle's house. We were very happy to have the opportunity to share some of the wedding celebrations with all of you that were able to attend and the rest of you were there in spirit!

We made it to Lake Tahoe on July 11 and we were married overlooking the "Lake of the Sky" on a brilliant Monday morning overlooking Emerald Bay. Our honeymoon roadtrip took us through the Sierra Nevada's in Northern California, on to the Cascades in Oregon, Oregon Caves National Monument, Portland, Olympic National Park, Seattle, Vancouver, and Lake Louise/ Banff Provincial Park in Alberta. It was a totally spectacular and memorable honeymoon. We lived out of our brand new Beretta for over three weeks (with a couple of hotel interludes) and never fought and had a fantastic time. If that doesn't mean we're meant for each other...... I don't know what does.

We both agree that if we hadn't been able to share the wedding celebrations with the people we love we would have missed out on a very special and important part of the wedding process. You all helped us realize what a truly blessed couple of people that we are! So thanks, for the gifts and memories and all the sincere love and good wishes that you showed us.
