My name is Michael Scott Martin, and I am currently a student at the University of Utah. I am pursuing a chemistry degree with an emphasis in secondary education. My present professional goal is to graduate in December of 2005 and begin, at long last, a career as a high school science teacher.
I was born and raised in Colorado. I am a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Johnstown. In addition to the University of Utah, I have also attended Brigham Young University and Weber State University. In the midst of all that, I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the "Mormons") in West Virginia.
My interests include reading, listening to music, collecting quotes, blogging, designing web pages, and trying to understand the nuances of quantum mechanics. For a more whimsical look into my interests, please read my Favorites page.
