Ouch! Well, can't please everyone:). Just remember the time frame (Space 
Invaders, Caverns Of Mars, etc.). Personally I liked it of course I am 
prejudice in the extreme. But if you do not like scrolling shoot-em ups, 
or if you only want a fixed ending game, then it wouldn't be one's cup of 
tea.

One of the strange side of effects of playing Tail of Beta Lyrae is that 
after playing for a while if you look at a wall or drape, the wall seems 
to undulate (No psychotropic drugs required:). Don't worry the effect 
wears off.
