No riddle. I believe it was controlled (faster and/or slower) with the 
option/select/start(not sure which), also it may be the one option that 
was broke(or I had it set too subtle). You must type the right key 
phrase, i am not sure if "cela saute aux yeux" set the toggle speed or 
gives one immortality. Finally the scrolling stats go FASTER the longer 
you wait (You might say it's an incentive to avoid procrastination:)
