Monument Valley Panorama #7
About Monument Valley Panorama # 7.
This image was stitched together in Photoshop from three separate color slides.
The slides were taken with a Canon T90 film camera equipped with a Vivitar Series 1 28-90mm F/2.8 lens and a circular polarizer. The camera was hand held.
The film was Fuji Provia 100F (RDPIII) with an exposure of 125 of a second at F/16.
The slides were scanned using a Microtek ArtixScan 120tf dedicated film scanner. The images were scanned at 4,000 dpi optical resolution with four times over sampling and 32 bits per channel.
The resulting images were hand stitched together in Photoshop on a custom built computer with an Intel Pentium 4 3.8 Ghz processor, 2Gbit ram, 160 Gbyte RAID 1 hard disk array, and a 22 inch NEC MultiSync FP2141SB CRT monitor. A layer mask was created in Photoshop to correct for the slight over exposure of the sky.
The image was printed on a Canon i9900 photo printer using Canon 8 color inks and Canon Photo Paper Pro photo paper. The printer driver was set for 25% dot gain.
