1) Exactly 1 minutes in length.
2) Plan and execute a short video.
3) Put 3 seconds of silent
BLACK/sync with a Credit of Your Name superimposed over the last 2
seconds of this black (use the default font and color in Final Cut's Text). End with at least 2
seconds of silent BLACK/sync. This 5 seconds of black and name is
not part of the ONE MINUTE.
4) All footage must be new, original footage you
shoot for this assignment.
5) Export your finished piece including
blacks as a QuickTime movie (compressor: DV-NTSC/ size: 720X 480/
etc.). Call you
movie "'Your Name'4midterm.mov".
DROP this movie in my drop
box if you can. If the server doesn't let you bring it on a flash
drive to turn in. It should be around 250mb.
Keep this movie in your
documents folder on the Fine Arts server. You will need
this file
on October 28 in class to build you DVD image.
6) In class on October 28 we will make a DVD image of your
midterm . Label your DVD
image file: "Your Name,
#4, Midterm, Fall 09". You may use iDVD (on the
computers in the Library) or your own DVD software to make a DVD of
your
midterm. Keep the menu simple. A black background with a
white font title of "Your Name, #4, Midterm, Fall 09" and a Play
button. Test your DVD image file and then drop it in my
drop box.
This is an OPEN
assignment. This is your chance to do what ever you want as flong as it
is exactly one minute long.
