Ahh, the joys of a shower, air conditioning, family, and home cooked meals. We recharged our batteries here. Litterally and figuratively. We spent alot of time sorting through our stuff. Getting rid of as much weight as we could. We also had to do some maintainance on the bikes, and did our laundry. My cousin drove us out to do some shopping. We bought dry food, a second fuel tank for my stove and a warm shirt for me.

I got to know my cousin's family. They all thought that we were crazy. Which as I've already explained we were. My Dad faxed us a web page of some guys' trip from the previous year, including directions. It was very helpful. With that, and my cousin's husband's help we worked out a route that would take us into Montana and beyond.

In short I don't think we would have made it if it hadn't been for the couple of days we spent with Patty. Thanks!
